Finger Polygraph 7 contains sophisticated data acquisition hardware inside a durable plastic box for reading and decoding biological signals from the human body. It also includes firmware-embedded software that transmits signals and analyses to a Windows PC or Android mobile device. This hardware reads data from 7 different sensors as real-time values with a transmission rate of 2400 bytes per second.

To connect the Finger Polygraph 7 hardware to an Android device, use an OTG USB cable. Each unit has a unique serial number programmed inside the hardware to prevent counterfeiting. Initial activation must be conducted on a PC.

Functions and Features:

The device reads 7 different physiological bio signals, analyzing psychophysiological parameters as follows:

• Blood Volume Pulse (BVP): Measures blood volume in the finger, indicating fear levels.
• Heart Rate (HR) and Inter Beat Interval (IBI): Monitors heart rate and stress indicators, including fight-or-flight responses.
• Dynamic Blood Pressure Changes: Detects minute BP variations related to fear, stress, and pressure.
• Heart Rate Variability (HRV): Provides 40 psychophysiological and physiological indicators through time domain calculations and FFT spectrum analysis, including "Rumination thoughts" (VLF), "Stress activation" (HF), "Relaxation activation" (LF), and "Calm ratio" (LF/HF).
• GSR Sensor: Measures galvanic skin response via electrodes on fingers, indicating sympathetic nervous system activity with high-resolution readings (2000-60,000).
• Temperature Sensor: Monitors peripheral skin temperature with 0.01°C resolution, reflecting sympathetic nervous system state.
• Abdominal Breathing Sensor: Sensitive air pressure sensor that monitors abdominal movements. Connected to a special 2-air sensor box attached to the rear side of the device.
