The BioSignals BSS-1 combines PPG pulse sensing, galvanic skin response and peripheral temperature in a compact biofeedback system for personal training, professional sessions and research. Mobile and PC software let you view live signals and review session data.

Understand the signals behind your practice

• PPG/BVP: view the pulse waveform, heart rate and inter-beat intervals. HRV analysis includes more than 40 time-domain and frequency-domain indicators.
• GSR: track changes in skin conductance during relaxation and self-regulation exercises.
• Temperature: monitor peripheral skin temperature with a listed resolution of 0.01°C.
• Pulse trend analysis: the software includes a dynamic blood-pressure-change indicator based on the pulse signal.

Movement sensing and expansion

• Three-axis accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope and three-axis magnetometer provide movement and orientation data.
• A hardware random number generator is included.
• A USB-C expansion port supports additional sensors through optional accessories, including EMG, EEG and ECG options. These accessories are not part of the listed kit.

Connect, train and review

The PC software provides live signal visualization, a biofeedback training interface, access to raw data and CSV export. It supports cloud synchronization and offline review. Android connects through BLE or USB OTG, with OTG also supplying power; iPhone connects through BLE. Mobile apps show live data and support cloud storage for sessions and reports.

Live signal transmission to the cloud database is not included in the base price. Temperature resolution describes the size of reported increments, rather than measurement accuracy.
