Polygraph.BiO comprises data acquisition hardware inside a plastic box for reading and decoding biological signals from the human body. It also features firmware-embedded software that transmits the signals and analysis to a Windows PC or Android mobile device. This hardware reads data from 6 different sensors in real-time with a transmission rate of 2400 bytes per second.

To use the Polygraph.BiO hardware efficiently, connect it to an Android device using an OTG USB cable. Each Polygraph.BiO unit has its own serial number inside the hardware to prevent counterfeiting. When using the Polygraph.BiO for the first time, you need to activate the hardware from a PC.

Functions and Features:

The device contains 6 different physiological bio-signal sensors, which read the human body signals and analyze the psychophysiological parameters as follows:

• Blood Volume Pulse (BVP): Measures blood volume in the finger, indicating fear levels.
• Heart Rate (HR) and Inter Beat Interval (IBI): Monitors heart rate and stress indicators, including fight-or-flight responses.
• Dynamic Blood Pressure Changes: Detects minute BP variations related to fear, stress, and pressure.
• Heart Rate Variability (HRV): Provides 40 psychophysiological and physiological indicators through time domain calculations and FFT spectrum analysis, including "Rumination thoughts" (VLF), "Stress activation" (HF), "Relaxation activation" (LF), and "Calm ratio" (LF/HF).
• GSR Sensor: Measures galvanic skin response via electrodes on fingers, indicating sympathetic nervous system activity with high-resolution readings (2000-60,000).
• Temperature Sensor: Measures peripheral skin temperature with 0.01°C resolution, indicating the general sympathetic nervous system state.
• Abdominal Breathing Sensor: A sensitive rubber-based stretch sensor measuring abdominal breathing amplitude.
• Chest Breathing Sensor: A highly sensitive rubber-based stretch sensor measuring chest breathing amplitude.
• Air Pressure Sensor (Anti-Cheat Sensor): A seat pad air pressure input sensor, highly sensitive, with fast response, measuring any kind of body movement.
